And a Baby Makes FIVE!

Sarah is 11 weeks along with Baby Three. It really became official when she put the names list on the refrigerator a couple of days ago. We will be adding and crossing off and adding until May 2010.

Jonas kept getting closer and closer to the Geese and they kept getting closer and closer to him, I still have nightmares from the time a bunch of geese chased me on to a picnic table when I was feeding them bread so I backed him up a bit.

We all split up last night. Sarah had a baby shower in the BIG GR, Nila went with her Aunt Liz and Jonas and I hung out in the Kzoo. I had a great time with him, this is the longest I have spent with the kid one on one. We went to a park yesterday and I let him splash around in the water puddles for awhile.

I'm a Softer

Okay - This picture has nothing to do with the story what so ever, but I was trying to find a photo of the two of them that we haven't posted. I wanted to share this story from the other day before I forget it. I was scolding Jonas a couple weeks ago not to hit. I told him "No hitting". Well, he walks away from me right over to Nila and hits her. So what does my sweet Nila tell him? "No hitting Jonas. I'm a softer, not a hitter!"

Bless you my dear!

Yes that last photo is of Jonas blowing out the candle.

Nila took Auntie Lis into the play room and stuffed both their bellies. I think this was inspired by Marikas visit the day before. Looks like she is going to have a breach birth in the last photo.

Her pumpkin looks like something out of a Tim Burton movie.

We had to watch Jonas because after he got a lot of the stuff out of the Pumpkin he would start putting it all back in.

We got pumpkins at the farmers market on Saturday morning and carved them this afternoon. Nila drew the face she wanted and I cut it out. She also added a lot of hair with the Sharpie.

Marika came down and visited Saturday night. We loved to see her. Nila loves to be around people that are pregnant.

Jonas' Umbrella

It is hard to remember sometimes to include Jonas in all we do...yes that sounds bad, but he was always the baby. Like for instance we use to get three cookies at the market, one for Nila, one for Jason and one for me. But, then Jonas started protesting - HEY I NEED A COOKIE TOO! He is talking all the time now. He imitates all the words we use. In so many ways he is growing up into a real kid instead of just a baby. And to make it official we got him his first umbrella today! I love going for walks with the kids in the rain so I am a big believer in rain gear. Needless to say Jonas loves the new umbrella and it rained today so him and Nila played outside and tried it out.

Sarah and I even got to enjoy a night out in Cleavland. We just kind of drove into downtown on a Saturday night and looked for people. We found a great wine bar Tapas place and had a wonderful dinner out.
