Jonas must be going through some type of growth spurt. He has been eating constantly this last week. After he swam for awhile (mostly jumping head first into the water, having me pull him out, and having him laugh and repeat), we went up to get ready for a late lunch and Jonas climbed up to the table and dug into the dip... He was so hungry he didn't even touch the beer.

We went to the lake house. Nila went with me out to the "Boat" and we picked lillypads. She loves lillypads.

Double Take

When I was posting photos tonight I scrolled up to far and got into our fav folder and saw this picture from when Sarah was pregnat with Nila and smiled.

Then I had this wierd "like I do not understand" moment two min later when I went to msnbc.com to check the news.
Strange.

Sarah's garden has really taken off. The zucchini and tomatoes are really pushing everything else out of the way.

The boy

Nila went to spend the day / night with her Aunt Lis and Grandparents. We once again get some alone time with Jonas. We have really enjoyed spending some time with him by ourselves. We have been talking a lot about wanting to do this more with both the kids.

Next we headed up to the garage to see the Turkey chicks.

Rooster in mid crow. Jonas loves to point at the animals.

The kids picked some flowers for mom.

Then we went up and saw the broiler chicks (seriously this is what they call them).

U-Pick

We went and picked strawberrys this morning. Well, Sarah mostly picked and I kept the kids occupied.

Nila loved these peas. She had us peal a bunch of them and carried them around for awhile. This morning she crawled in bed with me and had the peas "Time for breakfast daddy!". Seriously?

Jonas + Blanket + Bunny = SLEEP

Jonas takes all his naps with the Blanket Grandma Linda knit for him and his bunny. He got the bunny from our Friends and neighbors in France. He has slept with it in his crib almost every nap and night time since he was born. He usually grabs both and falls down into his crib like a chopped down tree.
