We found a great path that leads over to some goats and sheep, a baby goat was walking all over the sleeping sheep, Nila LOVED IT ALL. We found out later that this the farm where the goat in our back yard came from. (Nila made sure to tell him that we got to see his family when we got back)

We had to pick up some more Yarn for granNY (my new abbreviation for the NY grandparents) to finish a great sweater she is knitting for Nila and Jonas.

Nila insisted on carrying the bags.

Nila getting down to a great CD that our friends sent us. She is also trying to sing. I love the "HOUSE" she shouts out about ten seconds after it is said in the song.

This is actually only the start of her "moves" she does this great run and kick out thing on the chair and also likes to dance in front of her reflection on the TV.

Last weekend we where in Geneva with my Mom and Ralph and stopped to get sandwiches. They where playing some overly loud techno for a bit (I can tell I am getting old now) when we first walked in. Nila was sitting in her own chair eating part of a sandwich and bopping her head to the music while checking everyone out.... Thinking to herself, ""This is my kind of place, I should get out more often"". It was very very cute.

Evolution of Baby... Nila was supose to be in this photo but there was just NO WAY she was going to let that happen tonight (she is running our lives PLEASE SAVE US).

Hopfully you can tell what babies Nila is responsible for in the photo and which one we are taking care of. Nilas babies lead tough (and cold) lives.

We spent a quiet Easter at home today. We went to Mass (only 5 minutes late, or actually 35 minutes late - special Easter 9:30 start time - very frustrating) and then had our good friends Phil and Cat over for Easter dinner. We were not able to make it to the ONE store that sells hams in Geneva, so we had a roast instead. We actually were late getting dinner on the table so Nila ended up napping thru most of it, but she was so happy to see Cat when she came down from her nap. Nila LOVES Cat and truly thinks Cat comes over just to play with her.

We had a quick photo session this morning before Mass and Nila was SO SO Proud to be holding Jonas. Nila really just loves him to pieces and she is doing a wonderful job being a big sister. Jonas is a super star baby - just eating and sleeping and her never really complains. He is totally huge though - already out of all the 3m stuff and fitting nicely in the 6m catagory. He is smiling now and starting to make some of the cutest squeeks and coos.

I made some lemon cake to bring to our neighbors and it was sitting on the counter this morning. I awoke to the lovely sound of the chair scraping on the tile floor this morning and all I could think was "Jason better get that lemon cake off the counter before Nila gets to it". Well Jason tells me later that he ran over to rescue the cake and was walking around the house with the cake looking for a place to hide it out of Nila's reach with Nila in hot pursuit pushing the chair after him. He finally put it on top of the armoir in the dining room (well out of reach of Nila and her chair.) But the drama was not over - when I wrapped it up and gave it to Nila and Jason to deliver, Nila just would not part with it. What I hoped would be a cute little girl all decked out in her easter dress ended up with a crying toddler yelling "mine, mine, mine" over and over again at our neighbor.

We hope everyone at home is enjoying their Easter!

:)
Sarah

PS - you will be hearing more from me lately as I wanted to start sharing some of the fun and fabulous Nila moments.
